Being loved the wrong way, disciplined for something beyond one’s control. Trying to teach someone with brutal method. Conflict in relationships, non conformity to emulated desire, Rejection of patriarchal control, Unrequited love/ asymmetric love. Learning how to love each other with brutality.

I worked this canvas longer than any other canvas I have ever painted. I feel like this painting hates me but I love it.
